Spamming problems

Work has been a bit hectic recently, so I had to stop blogging a for while. One thing never stopped though, spamming. Spammers are so annoying! It seems that they are a part of life for bloggers since bloggers are encouraged to visit other people’s blogs and to leave comments. It therefore gives them higher ranking in Google’s organic search.

I have been receiving, on average, 3 to 4 emails every day alerting me about comments being left on my blog. First, I thought they were genuine but they became OTT, I had to accept the fact that they probably never read any of my posts anyway

I have been deleting them but now, I think that I should keep them for you to see.  So, here goes:

Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!” That one, I am not sure if it is genuine or if it is spamming. What do you think??? :-) Neigh, just kidding!

Some  genuinely  marvellous  work on behalf of the owner of this website ,  perfectly   outstanding  articles - We all know that one is spam!!!!!

Tthere are ways to stop spammers though: change your settings. Go to Settings – Discussions – “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”. That will stop them!
