Last minute quick crumble

Have you ever wanted to eat crumble for dessert without having to wait 30 minutes for it to cook in the oven? Well, this post of for you then! You can prepare a really quick dessert cooking your crumble in a frying pan instead, using exactly the same quantities, i.e. 1 part butter, 1 part sugar, 2 parts flour,

Once mixed, place in a dry frying pan and stir constantly until the mixture turns golden.

In these pictures, the crumble I made tasted a little burnt so stop yours a little before that stage !

Serve with sliced fresh fruit and ice cream.

Any leftover crumble can be keptĀ in a jar for a couple of days.
