Add home-cooked frozen beans to your savoury salads. Once I havecooked my dried beans, I place any unused ones in the freezer, in small press-and-seal plastic bags, laid as flat as possible. Then, when needed, I just take out as many as required and reseal the bag. As they were laid flat in the freezer, it is easy to separate them from each other. By the time you eat your lunch, the beans will have had time to defrost.
